For more than a hundred years, Russia has been a giant blank spot in the history of dinosaurs. A lot of things prevented the search and study of the remains of Russian dinosaurs: the lack of specialists, the geological history of the region, the remoteness of promising locations. Findings of dinosaurs were limited to a few bones, and only in the last twenty or thirty years the situation has changed dramatically and dramatically. Five large and globally important sites were found. Some discoveries have become a scientific sensation: in Russia, the remains of the most ancient feathered dinosaur, the richest and most diverse fauna of mammaliaforms of the mid-Jurassic period, were found, and a huge region was discovered where evolution practically stopped during the time of dinosaurs. The book by the science journalist and historian of paleontology Anton Nelikhov tells about these and many other findings, theories and hypotheses, as well as about the difficult history of discovering and "closing" the locations of Russian dinosaurs, about the latest methods for studying their remains, about dinosaurs in folk culture and, finally , about the prospects for the study of Russian dinosaurs.

Wenn Sie ein E-Book, das Adobe® Digital Editions benötigt herunterladen, erhalten Sie eine ASCM-Datei, die zu Digital Editions hinzugefügt und mit Ihrem Account verknüpft werden muss. Einige E-Book Reader (zum Beispiel PocketBook Touch) unterstützen auch das direkte Eingeben der Login-Daten des Adobe Accounts – somit können diese ASCM-Dateien direkt auf das betreffende Gerät kopiert werden.
Da E-Books nur für eine begrenzte Zeit – in der Regel 6 Monate – herunterladbar sind, sollten Sie stets eine Sicherheitskopie auf einem Dauerspeicher (Festplatte, USB-Stick oder CD) vorsehen. Auch ist die Menge der Downloads auf maximal 5 begrenzt.
